Hi all has anyone used the screen contrast setting in the accessibility setting to change the contrast of there screen and if so dose it really make that much difference or is it worth leaving it alone. I looked at it on kitkat and i saw articles saying drag the circle to the top of the camera icon but since lollipop its just a screen of jellybeans. Any tips on whether to use it or not and if so wheres the best place to set it to?

Yeah you put it approximately the same place where the designated spot was in kitkat and it works good, just be sure not to drop it down too far you will end up with a lot of contrast.

Well I'm glad you guys told me about the jellybeans. I don't go into that setting much and didn't know they'd changed it. My circle is on the second blue central jellybean from the top.

Lollipop has a screen of jellybeans? How confusing is that?

Anyways, I love this ability of Android. I've modified my Settings.dB to different contrast/hue/intensity settings which is basically a text firm of dragging the circle, but more precise obviously.

Yes i was thinking of that option but i have the LG stock lollipop and there is no root yet as far as I am aware of, you need root access to edit those settings.

Yea it dose sound confusing saying a page of jellybean on lollipop lol well ive give it ago and ive set mine here

I live in the US and the smarties you are referencing (Nestlé) are not allowed to be distributed here since the Smarties Candy Company has the copyright on that name. They look nothing alike, and it's very interesting that Google is using them in their ROM.

^^^Actually it has occurred to me that they might be M&M's. Made by the Mars company.

They are definitely not M&M's as the colors don't match up. The colors are identical to the UK Smarties. Plus, there are no lower-case "m"'s in white on the candies.

Lol i think i may have started something here with the whole smartie thing lol
