I like the camera - takes pictures quick (less so with the flash on), and I *really* like holding the shutter down and taking multiple pics (without immediately having to pick the "best" on like on the S5), but I really miss manual controls--ISO, brightness, modes like sport/night, etc. I'll see if it handles different modes just on auto.

Is there a camera app that will give me manual controls?

I use a better camera. Love the app and we'll worth buying the premium version for the extra goodies.

I downloaded A Better Camera and now the volume down button does not start the phone automatically. When I login through knock the A Better Camera is open and ready to go, but I love holding the button down and having it start automatically. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Yeah Lightroom cleaned it up nicely. Phone cameras are doing well, the strength of a compact now is optical zoom and possibly low light performance.

Pretty impressed with my G3's camera so far, especially with its low light performance...



However, I'm not at all impressed with my G3's atrocious audio quality when recording video.

My camera seems excruciatingly slow when the flash is used. Normal? I have tried different settings and modes with the same results.
