LG G3 software rolldown

Has anyone else heard about this?
I tried searching the net and couldn't find the article,again.
What i'd read was LG was going to rolldown the G3 software into the mid tier line and even some of the low tier phones.

It was supposed to be done thru software updates.
The idea was the G3 UI was going to be used in most LG phones.
I was hoping I would get it on my LG Volt.
It was supposed to include the one touch camera feature, where you can touch the screen for focus and shutter.
Which is why I want the update.

Yes I read about this as to when it will happen and over what timescale I'm not sure...

Well, that would be cool for the lower phones, but LG also said that they'd unlock everyone's phone and that hasn't happened yet.
