LG G3: T-Mobile

Oh thank god. I didn't want my first "real" android experience to be started with a delayed start. Thanks for the heads up!

The Pin connectors are open on the back, so you can do what we at WPCentral did for carriers that ripped Qi charging out, but a International battery cover. If you don't want the circle case then that's your best choice. No added thickness + Qi Charging. WPCentral users (like me) have been doing it for years ;)

so just buy the international back cover? from where?

Alot of places, probably not to common yet though. I got mine from Ebay for previous phones, they're up right now but for way to much ($60+)

Thanks for the info! Was a little bummed about the lack of Qi Charging, and no way I was purchasing the circle case. Nice to know that option exists!

Hi, I'd like to get the LG G3 for my wife's birthday in 2 weeks but am confused with the pre-ordering process. I have the Nexus 4 and was able to use the Tmobile $30 prepaid plan that comes with 5gb and 100 minutes. How can I order the LG G3 to use the same plan? The pre-order process requires a plan to be chosen but does not offer this plan as an option. I thought that if you pay full price, you can select any plan you want? Is this not the same as my Nexus 4, even though I brought it through the Play store? Please advise, thank you.

Call T-Mobile, or go into the store. Their online ordering system is janky to say the least. I've tried numerous times in the past to upgrade via the site to be prompted with a $130 plan fee when no changes were made to the plan. CS reps I've talked to always say that it shouldn't happen, but it does regularly. Definitely suggest giving them a call, or visiting a store. Good luck.

Well looks like Friday is gonna be my first day with it, seems like that's the day a lot of people will receive it actually. Excited for my dip in the Android waters! :D

I think I have new plan.

Even though I'm literally vibrating in my seat because I'll be able to upgrade on the 17th, I'm gonna hold off until next month and get the G3 as a bday present to myself :)

Hope this is useful

I may or may not have "accidentally" contacted my T-Mobile rep to hold onto a G3 for me for tomorrow.

So much for my plan :-\

I got my G3 yesterday.

Sad that it doesn't have the Qi charging on this unit. Happy that they give the 32 GB/3GB RAM model.

Wish that I had been able to migrate from my G2 more easily. The software they had on the G2 didn't work correctly. The LG site still doesn't show that they have the G3 for T-Mobile. After a lot of messing around I finally got to a place to download the drivers, but it didn't work correctly. The Live Chat rep was worthless in helping and finally sent me a link to the AT&T model's drivers before hanging up on me and not clarifying my question.

I have found drivers for the G3 on this site, which also has specific drivers for AT&T and Verizon. I can't tell if there is any LG PC software or not.

Download and install LG G3 USB drivers for Windows and Mac

In your opinions, would you install the AT&T driver from LG's site (LG D850 Metallic Black Support: Find Manuals & Warranty Info | LG USA) or the generic ones from the site above?

Thanks, got the phone from T-mobile, unlocked it and cancelled the $50/mo plan. Then went to Walmart and got the $40 starter kit, now the wife is on the same plan as me $30 per mo with 100 minutes/5gb data. My only concern is that if there is an update, will the phone receive the update OTA since it is unlocked?
