Three users how are you finding receiving calls with this phone. I am thinking about moving to three next month.

I just switched to Three from Virgin. Call quality is great.

Virgins data speed seemed rubbish and a lot of time it would take an age to open a web page. There is no sign of 4G.

At home with Virgin i would get approx 5MB 3G/HSPDA and a very flaky connection . With Three i get 40MB on 4G. At work i was lucky to be able to browse the net and the most i could see with Ookla speedtest was 1.5MB, with Three stood in the same spot i get 12MB.

What i'm trying to say is that for the extra £2 a month Three costs me, i am very happy. Incidentally calls to 0800 numbers are free, as is using your phone/allowance abroad in a number of countries such as Spain and USA.

I have the g3 on the 3 network and its great signal and updates come pretty quick aswell i think i got the 5.0 update around 5 days after the sim free g3 got it and if your in a 4g zone u will get there 4g signal too.. Id make the move 3 are awesome 95% of the time.. Im in kingston upon hull

I have used Three for the last two years and in most situations have been very pleased both on 3G and 4G. Call quality is very clear.

However I also have an "ordinary" mobile phone that runs on Vodafone. On a few occasions when there was no Three signal, Vodafone was there with 1 or 2 bars. It might be the different phone but I think it is down to patchy coverage by Three in some areas.

For my g3 i pay £36 a month for 600 mins, unlimited txts, all u can eat data and 2gb of personal hotspot. I got this deal as a new customer when the g3 first come out cause befor this i was on pay and go 3 with the brilliant Moto g lol

I've got unlimited mins (including 0800 and other 08 numbers), unlimited texts, all you can eat data, all you can eat hotspot .....practically all you can eat everything for £33

First time using 4G too, love this phone and Three UK man.

cool Has anyone used Three Three in touch app? Was thinking of using this in hard to get coverage areas.

Three intouch is a app that allows you to make and receive calls and text over wifi instead of using 3 signal. It's for use when you are in a area where u can get wifi but no 3 signal.

Just been to tesco as my contract end nxt month and they could only offer me extra 500mb for free :(

WiFi calling and texts work for me without using that app anyway....

I've been able to do that since the Galaxy S3.

I received the Three InTouch app on two of my Androids a couple of months ago, OTA. You have to enable it first. I've never had to use it but it's good to have that ability. The app is available in the Play Store, though I see that it cannot be used on rooted devices.
