Hi guys, I have an LG G3 that i purchased secondhand on Gumtree for a decent £200 with 2 cases, box and accessories in mint condition.

I've had some issues with charging, plus i've finished my review on it now and I have the option to swap for a Nexus 5 which again is mint and comes boxed (black 32GB) from a store which offers 12 months warrenty.

Is it a good swap?

I know on paper the G3 has a better processor, camera and screen, but usability wise? Has Android 5.0 added anything good to the Nexus 5?

good trade IMO.

I had a G3 and now have a Nexus 5. Good move. The G3 is a great phone but the Nexus 5 is better IMO, as long as you have no need for an SD card or replaceable battery. On Android 5.1 the Nexus flies and despite what you might have read, the camera with HDR+ is a cracker. The Nexus form factor is near on perfect - nice slim design and decent sized screen without being too big. I love stock Android too. It has to be my all-time favourite phone. I have it in red and it looks stunning.

I did have the Nexus 5 when it was released and thought it was abit bland being straight Android, but since then ive had ALOT of different phones and alot of different OS's/UI's, my initial thoughts are no longer the same.

I think the Nexus 5 is the best thing!

Indeed. I've has an LG G3, a OnePlus One, a Lumia 920, and a Lumia 930. I'm now on my third Nexus 5, having sold the previous two along the way thinking the grass was greener elsewhere. Big mistake. When I found the Nexus 5 was EOL I decided to buy a new one while I could, in bright red. Looking forward to a new Nexus 5 if the rumours turn out to be true :)

I decided to go with the Nexus 5 :) So far so good just not use to having my homescreen on the left and swiping to the right for the rest...I'm use to the homescreen being central!
