LG G3 Verizon - Can i Use this phone in international / India wiith local sim card?

Does anyone know if LG G3 from Verizon will work in India for local sim card use? I would like to use phone, sms as well as data.

I called Verizon and they told me that all 4G phones are "unlocked" so you can put sim card from providers in India and it should work. But I would like to know if someone else has tried it.

I believe it has bands for that, but cannot confirm India coverage and it actually working.

I'm doing that right now in Israel. I have the Verizon G3 and put in a local SIM in Israel and it works great. All of Verizon's LTE phones come unlocked.

yeap I put a local SIM in my Verizon G3 , and works great!, country: Ecuador-south america

Ditto... I was overseas in Italy this past summer and stuck the TIM SIM in and it worked like a charm.

Do you know if this is also true for the Sprint version of the G3 ?
