Does anyone know if they typically require a signature, it doesn't really say on the tracking info.

Yes. I just leave a signed note on the door to leave the package. I've only had them not leave it once.

I'll hopefully be picking one up this weekend. I just have to decide if I want to upgrade a different line and keep my unlimited or switch to a Edge plan (would be over 10gb shared to get the line discounts). GF is currently on a 2gb plan is having trouble staying under 2gb. Would be cheaper for me to jump to a 10gb plan to share for the two of us (I use about 4gb average).

I understand your dilemma, but keep in mind, once you leave, you can never return.

Just an FYI, ever phone I've ordered from them required a signature from FedEx. It sucks. I'm going to try the leaving of a signature tomorrow. Hopefully it works. I'm also planning on leaving work early just in case. This way I can take the door tag to them if I have to.

Like many folks on this thread, I pre-ordered mine (metallic black version) on the 10th and rec'd a shipping notice w/tracking info this morning indicating a Thursday delivery date. Hallelujah!

Just left Verizon. The back of the gray colored G3 is the same as everyone else's. But they have indeed made the bottom bezel, on only the grey, a glossy jet black. The white phone is almost a pearl color on the back and the bottom bezel. The white almost looks girly. Especially on the bottom bezel it looks very "pearl". I am annoyed. Probably going to have to get the grey.

Id disagree. I think the white looks awesome. I always get black phones and I figured I'd get white this time.

I am coming from a white GS3. I have nothing against a white phone, but I feel the contrast to the black around the screen makes it look funky.

Edit: Thinking about it, and looking online. The glossy black bezel looks cheap. I am torn on which to get. #firstworldproblems

I have to agree with monkeypunch, the black is not black at all and much closer to the gunmetal on the M8 and the white is pearlie and girlie in my opinion. I was on the fence between the M8 and G3 and I'm fully on the G3 now. I played around with the cameras a bit and while plenty of people are going to be satisfied with the M8 its not good enough in my opinion and makes for an easy decision to go with the G3.

Now to figure it out if I want to buy this thing full price or try and finagle a way to keep my sweet sweet unlimited data.

I'm still glad I got the "black" version though, it just matches the rest of my electronics and my purse so it made more sense. But I am going to be drooling over that pearly white for a while...

Yeah I liked the design of the white but I have white in my Z2 and thought the Gunmetal Grey looked nicer

I completely understand that. While losing the unlimited data would "suck" the fact is I am not one of these power users using over 5GB a month. I have an uncapped home internet connection that I use a lot more frequently than mobile data. The way I look at it is I am paying MORE for a phone (subsidy makes you pay more for a phone throughout the 24 months than full retail) to keep something I am not really benefiting from. Plus with the Edge program I'd be able to upgrade every year and that is quite attractive. If I pay $200 up front (normal contract price for this phone) my payments would be $20 a month for it and with the discount of $25, I'd be getting a discount on service by $5 (which is about $10-15 cheaper than my current plan).

Well, guess I'll be girlie. I ordered white because that's what color my G2s are. I can always cover it, but I doubt I'll mind the girlie look. I'm a big dude, so anything that makes me look smaller helps
