Same. Around 2.5 hours screen-on with M, compared to over 5 hours with L. Doze doesn't work on mine either it looks like as I've yet so see anything even resembling a flat line no matter how long I leave the phone down for.
Where do I find the Doze feature?
Sent from my LG-H815 using Android Central
how did you manage to get the 6.0??
I also have a european unit, from germany to be specific, and i used lg bridge to check for updates, said im on the latest version......which for my phone is 5.1... Any way to manually install 6.0?
My german G4 wasn't getting the update either.
So I went over to XDA, got LGUP, downloaded the official kdz file they have available there, and simply used LGUP to upgrade. It's an official upgrade and it's as simple as it gets.
Go here [STOCK][Latest!] H815 20B Images + KDZ + Fla… | LG G4 and you'll find all the necessary info and files![]()
I cannot get LG Bridge to run. It hangs at a point when I select Software Update, it says that I have no network access. That makes no sense. I installed the software on a Windows 7 Pro system. The back up function is working in LG Bridge by the way.
I would love to install Marshmallow on my LG G4 H815. Any pointers? Thanks!
Lots of folks with bad experience so far on MM with this stock rom flash from what I'm reading in there. Looks like you also need root to flash it. As much as I want and would like to have MM I'm going to give it some time since my G4 is working very well on 5.1.
1 - No, you don't need root.
2 - This is the official version that LG is pushing out. It's not "this stock ROM". It's the official one
3 - I haven't had a single problem with it.
My phone is also not rooted, the bootloader isn't unlocked and I never tempered with it. Folks encountering problems are generally people who had done those things to their phones. Therefore, they'd be facing problems even with the OTA update. But that's something you should accept and deal with it the moment you decide to mess with what LG gave you
That said, of course it's up to you to wait or not.
Try rebooting into safe mode (runs only system apps) and see if your phone is still getting warm. Might be one of your downloaded apps. Also try wiping the cache.
