LG G4 H818N screen rotation busted?

Hey all,

Have the Dual Sim H818N. Screen is not rotating at all. Have tried multiple accelerometer apps, accelerometer sensor does not even register.

Have tried soft reset, hard factory reset, going into service menu and tried a hard reset from there, still nothing. Obviously checked the display rotation options in the settings.

Is there any way to reboot or reset the accelerometer?

Any help would be much appreciated,

Sounds like a defective phone. I'd just take it back to where you got it from and get an exchange.

It does sound like defective hardware if factory reset didn't help. Good luck and sorry to hear.

I didn't see any mention of using the Auto-Rotation quick setting. Did you check the Quick Setting in notification bar for Auto-Rotation to make sure it's enabled? Are you also testing rotation within several apps or on your main launcher? I have it set so that my launcher won't rotate (within nova settings) but apps will rotate fine (ie, facebook).
