I'm really considering this beast of a phone but a deal breaker for me is if its the same size as the current phone. I'd want it more like the g2 nor g3. So what is the screen size supposed to be and does anyone know approximate dimensions?

Phone will be 5.87" x 2.96" x .35" with 5.5" screen. That's slightly taller than G3 (5.76" x 2.94" x .35") but same size screen.

Sent from my LG G2 running CM 12

Darn...too big to pocket comfortably, was kinda hoping for a smaller version. Guess it's back to the S6 unfortunately.

Same.. But not sure I'm ever going Samsung again. I have a Sony z3c.. Awesome little phone.. so may just wait for the z4c. I read somewhere that the LG was to be 5.3" which is still on the cusp of not being comfortable but would have considered it because of the high end hardware.. Oh well.

They never offered the Compact on Verizon, and since this phone is my business line coverage is important. Seems like the S6 is going in the right direction but google/samsung whomever really need to get a handle on that power issue.

Give it a look - I had the G3 for a while it it did feel good in the hand for a 5.5 inch device. .09 inches in length isn't that much.

I've waited this long, I probably will.

I may give it a shot still. That is the charm of the G3. Same screen size as the note but way smaller.

You can be rest assured that G4 will be present with its own set of bugs and issues. People always complain, proof go to any device forum and they are always filled with the same stupid complaints and issues.

Same screen size of the note 2 but not 3 or 4.

I agree, I also think a lot of it come down to: if people are happy they won't take the time to come to a forum, but if there are issues ire something to complain about then they will look for suggestions.

I like the G3 actually had 2 of them but my note 2 is still doing just fine so stayed with it. With the mess up of the S6, I'm really excited to see the G4. It's either going to be it or the note 4 (or 5)

No device will be perfect. They will always have bugs and other issues. And I agree - people will complain about the smallest thing.

Re: How big is this phone?

A small bump in size won't be a deal breaker for me. I initially thought my G3 was too much but now months later it fits just fine. I've already given up on the perfect " pocket fitting " phone when most OEM's abandoned the 4 " displays.
