I have a Note 3 that has a mirror image of my G4 ..all I need to do is swap the sim. Google back-up is your friend.

Seems like you are wasting a perfectly good Note 3. I can't remember the last time a device failed and I lost all my data. Install a backup program, sell the Note 3 and have some fun with extra $200 now in your pocket.

G4 or not, it's always a good idea to have a backup phone. You can have everything backed up, but those backup programs mean nothing when you still need something for making calls until the phone is fixed or replaced.
