LG G4 - Invalid Software Package

My phone says that there is a new software update available. But when I try to download it, I'm told I have an invalid software package. I've tried downloading it many times, I've even reset my phone a couple of times, but It's always the same.

What does "invalid software package" mean, and how can I fix it?

It means that the download failed. You'll eventually be sent the update even without asking for it - if that fails, take the phone to your carrier.
