LG G4 - Knock code too fast = error

Anyone else finding that if you tap your code too fast you get the double red light error?

My G3 was able to read my fast tapping skills lol

My knock code works great. Knock on when the screen is asleep only works when i double tap certain points of the screen though. Same with glance view. But when i double tap the screen anywhere to sleep it works flawlessly. Any suggestions?
