LG G4 not keeping PNY 128 Gb sdcard mounted

When ever I insert my 128gb sdcard it will only away mounted for a few minutes then I would get a message stating that the sd card was removed. If I use a generic 32gb card there is no problems. Is anyone else having this issue? According to LG the phone supports up to a 2tb sdcard.

I'm running a 128 no problem, sounds like an issue with your card. Try formatting it.

The manual does have warnings to the effect that not all SD cards are compatible, and that some may even damage your phone!

Having made such dire warnings, it does not however tell you which cards NOT to buy, or have a list of tried, tested and trusted cards - that would be too bloody easy...

So it's pretty useless :-(

Keep using the card in your other phones where it does work, and splash some cash on another brand name card.
I've personally always thought that PNY were a budget, low end brand.

I'm using a 128gb sandisk from best buy. Sounds like your card could be fake. Where did you buy it from?
