AC Question

So in July, I accidentally dropped my phone in the lake. It was maybe submerged for less than 5 seconds. Ripped it apart, dried it off. And everything was dandy. The moisture indicator on the battery was red, but other than that, no problems with my phone at all afterwards.

Until November. After work, I plugged my phone in to charge up a bit before going out. Until this point, everything was working fine. I went back to grab it and that was it. DEAD. Sent it away to get looked at since it was still under warranty and they couldn't fix it due to corrosion.

Soaked the motherboard in 99% isopropynol. Nothing.

On a whim, a few weeks later decided to plug it into the charge. The screen flashed with the battery symbol, and the charge light went red. Let it charge up for a full day. Tried to turn it on, but nothing.

I've given up hope of having the phone functional, but i would like to get my pictures off it. Help?

If you cannot interact with the screen, you cannot get your pictures off the phone.
The best you can do is get the images off the last backup you did back in November.

Welcome to Android Central! I realize that this is like closing the barn door after the cows have gotten out, but after that initial mishap in July, it would have been best for you to get in the habit of backing up your locally saved photos on a regular basis, since you had already dodged one bullet (when the phone started working again). In the future, I highly recommend taking advantage of Google Photos Auto Backup: https://support.google.com/photos/answer/6193313?co=GENIE.Platform=Android&hl=en
