I did BB as well and don't expect anything until Thursday.

I did. I originally placed my pre-order through BB but when verizon allowed me to place the order with a promised delivery date of May 29th, I cancelled my order with BB.

I just returned from the Verizon store (Corporate store, not a franchise retailer). The phone is SO much lighter than my Note2. I asked questions about ordering online vs in-store purchase vs Best Buy. Since I am still on unlimited data plan I knew I had to purchase the phone outright vs. contract. The salesman said that IF you purchase thru Best Buy (either contract or full price), any problems, errors, questions, etc have to be handled thru Best Buy. In other words, if I bought it at Best Buy, even tho on Verizon's service, all hardware issues are now Best Buys hardware issues. And they in-turn would go back to LG, vs being handed a new phone when purchased at Verizon. I'm sure he's hyping that as a selling point for him, but a good point non-the-less.

By the way, he was adamant that I dump my unlimited plan for something "cheaper". I think they must be on a mission to get everyone off unlimited plans asap.

Also, he expained the new $49 LG 8.3 tablet price only applies if buying the phone either on-contract or on Edge. You can't get the $49 tablet deal if purchasing phone full-price. And I just tried it online also, when you click Full Price, the tablet promo goes away. (I have the original GPad 8.3, still love it)

Since I have unlimited data as well, I decided it would be best if I went through verizon and it worked out in my favor. I bought the phone at full retail price and kept my unlimited data without any problems.

That's not correct. During the return period you would have to return to the place of purchase. But for warranty service, you can go though Verizon regardless of where you purchased, provided that it is a Verizon phone.

Sent from my LG G4

They have it on display, you can try it out, and pre-order, but you can't walk out with one until June 4th.
