What's up everyone , been reading on these forums for a couple months finally decided to make an account and start posting.

I'm somewhat of a tech guy , but also love to have the newest thing out as well. I go through phones like crazy (I'm in sales so I use my phone a lot) Either they break (i go naked except iphone) or just something new comes out and I want to try it out.

So here I'm going to do an LG g4 vs all current flagships. Sorry to all nexus 6 people out there, I never bought the phone, tried it but was simply too big although I understand why you all love it.

I'm including the m9, s6e, s6, iPhone 6 and 6 plus, droid turbo, Sony z3v, bb passport, note 4, note 4 edge.

I'm going to try to keep this minimal because I hate long reviews , after you read a few you pretty much understand the pros and cons with all devices out there.

I'm not biased towards apple, android, windows,bb. All of them have pros and cons and I always make great use with whatever os I'm using.

The LG g4 build is premium. I got the black leather back for verizon. Yeah the leather gets a little slick if your hands get sweaty, most phones do, but the leather feels a little greasy. Looks awesome and still feels great.

The screen is amazing. best out there right with the s6 and s6e. I prefer the size of the s6 but 5.5in screen is perfect.

The UI is pretty nice. I don't care too much for launchers(tried them all though) but I basically run all my phones stock. Very customizable and not laggy like touchwiz.

The phone is just fast. Multitasks great. No lag. Very happy with speed of phone. Happiest with the LG g4 speed.

Battery life isn't as great as advertised, but it's still good. Much better than the s6 and m9. Turbo, especially the passport is far better but that's always the case with bb phones. I don't have a desk job and I drive a lot so I'm either charging in the car or at home so my phone is hardly ever dead.

I enjoy the stock keyboard a lot and usually I download new keyboards but I haven't found a reason to do that yet with the g4.

Camera is excellent. I use my camera a good amount and I just use auto settings so my reviews will be based on that. S6 camera is a bit faster, but overall quality, both are great and the best out there. M9 isn't very good. I'll reward the s6 only due to speed.

The LG g4 feels great in the hand. Best look and feel I'm rewarding the m9 (silver/gold). Just think it's the sharpest looking phone. If I'm wearing a suit, I'll be using the m9. S6 and s6e I just feel like I'll drop, although they look stunning.

I'm using the LG g4 as my daily driver, and I actually believe I'll settle with this for a bit until something else is worth getting. I don't care too much about the missing fingerprint scanner although it would be nice to have.

Reason I pick the g4 is because the screen,camera,feel,size,ui.. Everything seems to run real fluid. If the s6e didn't lag I'd be using it but even small things with the g4 win me over like when I'm typing this review up and someone texts me, it pops up on the left hand corner. I can just do everything fast and smooth with this phone where the s6e and m9 tend to have flaws. Even though I'm always charging, the battery life helps win me over too.

Hope you enjoyed my first review. By the way, in this review I tend to compare the g4 to the s6/s6e and m9 because they're the latest out and what people are looking at for an upgrade. They're also my three favorites over what's out now. S6e over s6 in my top three.

I've used the g3, and yes I think this worth the upgrade from the g3.

If you have an upgrade, I'd go LG g4 for the best all around experience. It's up to you what you like best though, but i personally enjoy the g4.

Feel free to ask any questions

How do you compare the S6 and G4 to the Droid Turbo (assuming the turbo will be getting Lollipop over the next 2 weeks)?...Just asking as I like the size better than the G4

It's definitely not Flossy Carter. Flossy loves his Nexus and this guy said he never bought one.

Yup he loves his nexus 6 (on deck) all you haters, ladies close your eyes and picture me rollin....

I'm out 😜😜😜😜😜

I was a motorola loyalist dating back to the original droid and every model since. I actually got so tired of the Turbo I went back to the Maxx because honestly, besides battery life, the phone had nothing going for it, in my opinion. The worst camera Ive used on a phone in the past 5 years. Tried the S6, but the battery drain was brutal. Returned it after a week.

The G4...Im thrilled with. Have not been this happy with a phone in quite some time. LG has won me over.

Thanks for the input...the thing holding me back on the G4 is mainly the size...agreed on the battery with the s6, it is pretty bad and I don't like touchwiz, but it is tolerable on the s6...too bad HTC dropped the ball this year.

Only better thing the turbo has is battery life. S6 and G4 are much better phones. I do favorite the size with the turbo because I can grip it better but the G4 is just right. Can use one handed fine. I don't have giant hands either and i was actually a bit worried the size would annoy me after a few days but it hasn't at all. You can feel while holding the phone LG put some time into making this design because I can grip it one handed without any worries of dropping. The curve definitely helps a bit

Hope my first response helped. But I wanna add - don't let the 5.5in screen on paper throw you off. As I'm typing this I picked up my turbo to compare the size. I'd compare the size difference to a turbo with a case on it vs no case. Could always go to the store. I enjoyed the speed of the turbo but I've experienced no lag on the G4. As for battery life, I keep every spec on high, I never turn anything off so my battery doesn't die, I feel that's ridiculous. unless I need to use my computer for certain progams, I basically use my phone for browsing, maps, shopping, emails, social media, phone stuff etc;

Today I tested the battery without plugging it in, lasted me from 930am and its 1am now and I just plugged it in to charge. I was at 2 percent. That's great for me. If you keep your screen off the battery percentage barely drops. I think I had like 2-3 hours I didn't touch my phone and it went down 1 percent.

LG knows how to do standby for sure! Someone else here in the boards told me that Sony owns the standby throne but I can't confirm since I've never owned one. Whatever the case, it's nice to have a device that doesn't drain much when you don't touch it.

I actually think LG owned the standby throne, but Sony manages to get better battery life while the phone is being used

Well, I was that one, and I've had both LG G3 and Z3 (considering going later today to T-Mobile to pick up the G4 but just waiting today for my Alcatel Idol 3 to play with can delay that a little more) and yes, LG G3 was great on standby but Sony Xperia Z3 is on another level, just insane. LG G3 on an 8 hours sleep it drained 4-5%, my others phone are constantly draining 5-6% while my Z3 always drained 2-3% but most of the time just 2%. Same settings on all phones.

Follow up to the above post.

After getting my LG G4 from T-Mobile yesterday and set everything as I wanted, I charged it again to 100% and went to sleep, and just 5.5 hours later it has drained 6%.

So if that's an indication, no, it's not better on Standby than the Z3, and not even better than my S6 Edge as it has been draining 5-6% over 7-8 hours of sleep constantly for the past 2 months. This with the same amount of accounts and apps syncing on both as both phones are set the same right now, hence I can tell that so far, battery life is little worst than my S6 Edge.

I'm not liking how fast it seems to be draining while in use, it goes down in a hurry,. It seems to be averaging about 5 hours of SoT when in same conditions and usage I've bag being 5.5-6 his of SoT in the S6 Edge.

I'll keep checking and posting.
