LG G5 audio has static

I have an LG G5. I have only had the phone for 2 months. It was bought new.

It was working perfectly fine last night, but this morning anytime I record (snapchat, video record) there's this static noise in the background.

I test recorded a video:
-silent room
-no talking
When I listen to the playback of the video I recorded with my phone there's white static noise.

I can hear phone calls just fine. However, people have been telling me they can't hear me when I talk back to them. Speakerphone has perfect clarity.

Playing music or videos from other sources (facebook, others snapchat stories) I can hear it perfectly fine.

What would be the issue behind this static noise? How do I fix it?

Welcome back! I'd guess that the primary mic is faulty. Try booting into Safe Mode and test it out again. If the static persists, then contact LG for warranty repair. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-25356
