LG g5 stock audio specs!?!

I just found the DAC listed at the following link in the UK!! Says the expected release date for UK is April 8th!?

It doest show it with the headphones... it shows only the amp/ DAC...

Seeing this make me feel like I'm safe to order the Shure IEM's, and grab the b&o amp/dac whenever it becomes available.

That's a good find. It confirms the distribution, let's hope that also applies for the US market as well. If they had the H3s as part of the package, the price point would be too high for the average consumer. Selling the module alone is a smart move.

I've had some time to spend with the LG G5 and a pair of Shure se 215 in ear monitors.

I can honestly say that even streaming Spotify via G5 sound very good! If you crank volume all the way up, it gets uncomfortable as your pushing the limits of the amp... any amp for that matter.

There really is no need to turn it up that loud though. I enjoy full submersive sound and with these sure and the g5... 40-70% volume is plenty depending on your mood!!

Not sure how it works in earphones/headphones world, but with theater... lower impedance makes for a more difficult loud on the amplifier. I could see some people who enjoy on ear headphones with bigger drivers that could be harder to push wanting the add on module, and for sure any audiophiles... but the normal everyday "Joe" should be very please with a decent set of earphones and the handset just the way it comes!!!

I have some shure se535 headphones and about 60 gb of flac files on an sd card but haven't yet tested the stock audio output on the l5 . One of the things that sold me on the l5 was the modular dac. I used to use an hrc microstreamer dac with my htc m8 but it eventually became too cumbersome. Will be nice to see some comparisons and if it's worth it to purchase the dac.

My phone came with free h3 earbuds but i already have shure se535 which will no doubt destroy the h3s. Would have prefered if it came with the dac.
