LG g5 won't keep apps on external storage

I will move apps to the SD card, and it will show that app is on external storage, but then a while later (I've noticed it days later) that same app with now show its on internal storage and so I'll move it again to external. Why isn't it staying on external???

The most common cause of apps moving back to the internal storage is when an app gets a version update from the Google Play Store.
