LG G6 has died!

[AC Question]

I was using my phone the other day and then it froze, Screen went blank then never came back on. It doesn't acknowledge a charger (I've tried 3) and doesn't recognize being plugged into the computer. Can't exchange it as I've had it for 2 months and it's out of the 30 day return period. Now i have to wait for LG to repair it.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Welcome to Android Central.

Same thing happened to my Galaxy S8 Plus. I suggest trying a hard reset. Hold your power and volume down button at the same time till you see it restart. Then let go of the buttons. Hopefully this will help with your issue. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, unfortunately this hasn't worked. I've tried this whilst on charge as well and still nothing. Thank you!

This has happened to me twice now in 2 days.......it looks like it is restarting on its own and then the screen goes white ......very frustrating....but read your post about holding power button and volume button and it came back thanks for the tip

This happened to me 2 days ago with my LG G6. Had to send it away for repair.
The store where I bought it had no clue as to why it happened.
