LG G6 - Is it worth the money?

Hello,

I am Galaxy S7 user. Since, I don't feel much of a difference between S7 and S8 except for the display. Is it worth upgrading to G6 from S7?

How's the camera? And the battery life?

I think it's a big upgrade from the S7 to S8,. Better screen and SD 835 vs SD 820

But I have the G6, and I can say battery is only mediocre at best. I have to use a battery case to get me thru the day, with about 4 hrs screen on time average, without the battery case

I would say play with both at a store and see. I like how the G6 doesn't have curved screens

G6 is an awesome phone...i upgraded from s7 edge..and iam very very happy...love the dual cameras...flat screen....very good battery life ...5.7 inc screen in a compact body...great build quality ...i say G6 is must buy...

Battery life is good for most users.. I tend to get 6 hours of screen time easily.

Great phone had over 90 hours on a single charge once (barely used it though) that thing dosen't drain itself at night it's awesome and imo much better priced for it's features than the s8 is. Battery life is ofc subjective but most users here seem to get great life out of a charge on it.

Does G6 have a better camera than s7 edge?

I recently upgraded from a S7 to the LG G6 and I'm happy I did. Overall, I think this phone is better than the S7. Battery life is fantastic, and I love the camera. Pictures I've taken with the G6 are the same or better quality than the S7. I also was able to buy the G6 online from AT&T for $585 which made it a good deal.

Idk when i comes to battery i had/have between 5-8h SoT on G6 so can't complain about that, when it comes to camera i wish they get us blur option and portrait option with some future updates... Camera is pretty good aswell, though front is really crappy quality but unimportent to me..

Screen super bright and colorfull love it, design of the phone beautiful, uix idk i always loved lgs skin, though it would be nice to see some other options in smart settings for ex. and other things i saw on my brothers honor 8 which is last years phone.

SP835 would be nice for the future if someone plans to use phone for several years but hey, it performs really good with last years chip so far at least for me. Hmm, i love how they reduced heating problems, the phone is cold even at really hot summer days, hmm quick charge could be faster though we actually got fast charger with it but it's okay 1h:40 min to 100%, hmm fingerprint reader could be much faster, on brothers honor it reacts instantly but again nothing that bothers me too much or at all...

Storage for future phones i think it's useless to put less than 64gb, i am not a fan of sd cards and don't use them in phone for several years now and probably won't in the future... But 32gbs so far enough for me...

Action centar could have more options, for ex. my brother can download them on his honor...
Aswell as the mods on camera so that would be nice to see with some future updates...

Love the the ip certificat aswell used it to shoot pictures and videos while on vacation in austria during rough rain..

I miss the led notification but kinda god used to that it's gone, i mean iphones never had it so their owners survived it, and yeah i definetly miss the IR blaster now i have to use my remote

Idk what else to say i have the G6 for 2-3 months and so far no regrets and i tend to use it until my contract with provider finishes so maybe then i'll get the G8 I am glad i gave another chance to the LG after the G3. And i am glad i didn't get the iphone 7 instead or S8 ( samsung hater here ) So idk what else to say but i would definetly recommend the phone to people who are maybe requestioning to buy it.. Until we see the V30, the G6 is from my point of view definetly LG's best phone so far after never forgotten G2...
