LG G7 exchange emails not syncing properly

[Android Central Question]

Hi, I'm having issue with my Exchange emails not syncing properly on my LG G7 phone. The email account is setup, I can receive and send emails, but whenever I tried to delete an email on my phone, it will still be there on my laptop. So I'm guessing something is not syncing properly. I checked all the auto-sync items are checked, and opened, still can't figure out how to correct this. I never had this issue with iPhone before. Please help. Thanks
