LG GPad 8.3 keeps intermittently freezing

Hi there. Running Android 5.0.2. Even when I restart my tablet it will freeze every minute or so for a couple seconds at a time. Games, web, typing, doesn't matter. Any idea what could be causing this and what I can do to fix it?

I tried a factory reset from the recovery screen and it seems to have solved the freezing issue on my G Pad 8.3. I factory reset it from inside the OS and that didn't fix it before...maybe give this a try? (even music would freeze playing and all before, now it does not do that!)
