LG Health/Fitness App -- Working for Anyone?

I tried Google Fit but it seems to be a bigger battery drain than necessary -- obviously it wants to track your location and syncs its data with the cloud. LG Health may be the same, but I can't even get it to work. I get the screen which asks for my vitals, but when I hit "save" or even "skip" at the bottom, the screen doesn't change. When I hit the back button at the top, within the app, it jacks me out of the app entirely. It's like a dead-end. Anyone else have this issue or know what am I doing wrong?

I find that it certainly works okay. Have you tried clearing the cache for that app?

What can I say...I have a very, very physically-active job every single day except Tuesdays and Fridays, my two off days. It even thinks I'm cycling. o_O
Maybe I need to increase the goals.

I used to have it on but have forgotten to turn it back on! Gahhh! Let me turn it back on!

I've tried everything, changing access permissions, clearing the cache, et al. and nothing works. It's a dead app. Time to hide.

I wonder why it's not moving after that screen. I wish I could get that screen on mine, but I don't want to reset my health data since getting the phone to try and replicate your issue.
Stupid question, but do you have data enabled (whether cellular or wifi) when trying to hit "save" or "skip" at the bottom? Maybe it's trying to connect to something.
Under Settings --> Accounts I also have an LG account enabled. Not sure if it is because I use this app (their health app) or their Smart World app (themes/fonts/etc). Perhaps the health app is trying to access the lg account? Do you have one created? Sorry, grasping at straws.

As it turns out, I did not have an LG Account synced at all. I signed up and thought that would do the trick, even toggled from WiFi to LTE, and still no results beyond clicking "save". I uninstalled the app updates and more -- still nada. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot. It's not so much that it doesn't work, but I would like a decent fitness app, and I hate that there's no rhyme or reason as to why this one won't start up.

This is very odd. I restarted my lg health app good morning with no issues. How about a screen shot of what you're seeing? Maybe there's something missing.

Wow, you guys are animals! My goal each day is 7183 steps. I can't remember how I came to that, but I do not make it very often. I'm more of a weight lifter myself.

The screenshot would be only of the page that asks you to enter in your vital information. That's it. There's no error, nowhere to go afterward, if I back out I exit from the app completely, etc. An error I could do something with. A crashed app I could work with. This is a dead-end, and I'm not used to that.

That's definitely frustrating. Maybe a call to lg would be the next step? It's possible they've had other complaints or none and they can look into it.

Once root is available, I bet we can completely uninstall LG Health and then get you a fresh install of it. Maybe it will do the trick.
Until then, I know you said it was a big battery hog, but there's Google Fit.

This was my highest.. Even with me hiking a lot.

Easy fix. I'm on a G3 running 6.0, but similar fix: Settings->Apps->Select Menu Button @ Top Right Of Screen-> Select Show System-> Locate LG Health Agent-> Make sure it's enabled-> ENJOY!
