LG keyboard auto space

I love the LG keyboard. I only have one gripe about it, and that's that it doesn't automatically place a space after words when you're using the path (swype) method. Is there any way around this other that just clicking the space bar after every word?

Mine does? And I'm not seeing a specific option to check for auto spacing

Edit: what settings are checked under your keyboard options?

I figured it out! I had to turn off word prediction.

I wish there were a way to make the LG keyboards space bar a little bigger I keep putting exclamation points and commas and periods in the middle of sentences
