LG L5 battery issue

I have an LG L5 that is 1 1/2 years old and, over the past week, the battery has been quickly losing its charge after a full charge. I was told this was probably due to a new upgrade issue and to do a full factory reset. I did the full reset but the battery still seems to have the same problem of discharging rapidly. Does anyone have any ideas for my next step?

At that age, I wouldn't be surprised if the battery is simply worn out and needs replacing.

Do you let it drain to zero? If so, is it now shutting off earlier, like at 10+%
