I have a Moto G 1st Gen phone and it works pretty well. However, of late I have to do a lot of typing on my phone and increasingly feel the need for a 5 in display, with good to excellent battery life, light weight (less than 140 g), good ear/loud speaker quality, and small bezels. Camera and video sound quality are not priorities.
However, I now realise that it's still rare to find ppi's above 300 in the mid range bracket (720p ones from Sony, Samsung, and HTC have 5.3 in or larger screens). But I have now narrowed down on the newly launched LG Magna. I checked it out and was pretty impressed and it fits almost all my requirements.
However, I am a little unsure about the speed of operation. It seemed to not have the snappiness of the Moto G. Perhaps this is the effect of the Mediatek chipset?
Can someone comment on the performance parameters of this device?
Any suggestions on other devices I should look at?
