Do not bother trying to use the mobile support tool to update to ZVI. According to my chat, they will not be updating the tool. Sprint has chosen to distribute this update via GOTA (google over the air) and not through the support tool.

They can. It's their choice. Same with Samsung, Sprint has control whether it'll be a FOTA (Firmware-Over-The-Air) or using Kies.
previous sprint's LG, like marquee or optimus-s has the update pushed via google server
then upload the firmware on the LG server
then upload the firmware on the LG server
Hopefully soon I will be able too post the LS840ZVI tot and dll too help make things easier for everyone.

That file is blocked because it in firmware OTA Mode. Once that blocked is removed I will post the downloadable tot and dll
Yeah thats about right about a month before you can use LG Mobile Support Tool too update too ICS. Hopefully with no issues I can post the tot and dll file before then. Just a matter of the blocked remove after OTA has been pushed out too enough devices.
