LG Nexus 5 Specs: Snapdragon 808, 5.2 1080p, 3GB RAM, 2700mah battery

We must be looking at different pics, because that lower/upper bezal looks ENORMOUS

I would agree partly. The top bezel is fine (not great, but not problematic). The bottom bezel is almost unforgivable considering that the fingerprint scanner is on the back of the phone. It makes me wonder if the leaker has purposefully hidden something under his/her thumb. I'm not sure what that would be, however, since (as I said) the fingerprint scanner is on the back.

I wouldn't imagine that it's a home button, do you think? Probably not.

Anyway, top bezel: OK; bottom bezel: whoa, wth

I have not seen any mention of wireless charging.. Assuming it will have it. And if it does, probably no chance of getting the new 15watt qi.

Everyone's losing their minds about the 2GB RAM. It's fine. iPhone only just made the jump to 2GB RAM with the 6S. It's all about software optimisation and Google has optimised Marshmallow.

I agree. My original Moto X only has two gigabytes of RAM and a much less powerful SoC. It runs lollipop fast, smooth and silky after two full years of use. The Nexus 5 X should run stock Android like a beast.

Let's not forgot that one obscure manufacturer that has used 1gb RAM successfully on their phones until the new ones that come out tomorrow. They seemed to run decently on 1gb RAM only and we are talking 2 here. They are a moderately successful company. :D

That said, the 5x will have 3gb RAM in my very humblest of opinions.

On this point, their is no way to compare the OS that uses the manufacturer you are referring to and Android ;-).

Seriously, on iOS, you can't run something in background except for some specific services. iOS store only an image of the last state of the application in RAM.

Are you talking about a manufacturer that created a OS that can NOT multitask AND has issues with larger apps not running so well on their older device... and the company propaganda says there is no such thing as fragmentation on their devices, which is a complete lie because most users don't update their device because they know it will break what they have.

Sorry to bring up the A word here lol

I'll be receiving my new 6s plus tomorrow and ordering the 5x the second it becomes available. I love technology and I love options. Let's all get along! :D

I have no problem with Apple and even less with the iPhone that I consider to be among the best devices on the market.

But iOS works differently than Android and some points can't be compared directly. RAM management is one of them, that's all I want to say.

I agree. With that being said the Nexus is the closest Android is going to get to having a device that manages RAM in an efficient way. Marshmallow will enhance this. It's much closer to the iPhone than an S6.

S6 and RAM management in the same sentence is hilarious lol. I don't know if we can call what Samsung actually does "RAM management"

Yeah, Apple does very well w/ RAM management in their OS. If Nexus can mimic it w/ stock Android, it shouldn't be a problem. iPhones are solid phones for people that don't have any particular reason to utilize all that Android has to offer. It's certainly not me b/c I love choices, I love customizations, and I enjoy my device having the ability to do what I want, not being limited.

And this is exactly why I have and love both. I love tinkering around on Nexus phones but sometimes I just want to use my phone and not have to worry about all that stuff. Yes, I know I could just use my Nexus and not tinker but when I'm using it I feel a NEED a DESIRE to tinker. I can't stop myself. When I grab my iPhone I know I can't, so I just go with it.

This is an amazing time we live in with the way technology is advancing so rapidly. Choice is always good!

Hopefully in another week or so I'll be rocking an iPhone 6s Plus and a Nexus 5x :D

What I do like about Apple is pure apple, no skins, no carrier bloatware, nothing. With Android, there is unless you get a Nexus but some people I know want to do payment plans through the carrier like VZW where they give you a discount. The N6 is $23/month but you get a $15 discount if you on a 8GB plan or lower and $25 discount for higher GB which brings the phone price down to $8/month or $2 discount with a new phone.

Root is another option but Samsung phones are not easily rooted now with Knox and so are carrier branded devices. Also with Apple, software is released to everyone. With Android, unless your on a Nexus, you might still be behind.

This lack of purity has really let Android down over the years.

Hell, some phones even came with a preloaded carrier browser!

I feel this is changing, and Apple are getting a little bloaty now, with everyone having an "Apple apps" folder of **** they never use.

I heard people loved that U2 album.........
