hello i would like to know is there a custom image to flash for my kernal on my lg optimus s im trying to find a gingerbread rom thats not cm7 but i want to know what kernal image i can use my phone is rooted and has a backup

Do some more homework. The Gingerbread ROMs are catalogued in the Rooting, ROMs, and Hacks section and each comes with its respective kernel.
