Those first photos came from the Optimus V. I had alot of light when I took those pictures.

The macro photography on the Optimus V are great.

Check out MIUI Camera app, it's got some great settings.

I agree - this app works a lot better than the stock camera app. You can adjust the lighting for low light conditions (brighten the image) and you have the option of burst mode and anti-shake, which really helps with the auto-focus issue that aospCMOD CM7 has right now. I had to freeze the stock camera app in TiBu because it kept FC'ing to get it to work.
