LG Optimus V replacement?

Recently my Optimus has been acting up, and since I'm still under warranty, I decided to just get it replaced. Only problem is that it's still showing up as out of stock, and the person I'm emailing is saying the same thing.

According to a post made by Leslie on the VMRoms forum, the Optimus might be being discontinued. If that's the case, does it mean that I can't get a replacement?

They may have some refurbs in stock, or they may send you an Elite or Wildfire.
They also could just say you will have to wait for an OV to come back in stock.

There is some in stock still out there, but it's getting harder and harder to find.


LG made an TON, but Virgin also sold a ton.
I wonder what percentage of VM users are using an OV, because the numbers are HUGE.


The Radio Shacks near me have them in stock for $130, online they are sold out.
Best buy has them for $99 but are sold out locally and online.

So the Optimus V is STILL out of stock, and apparently, I can't get another phone to replace it. Does this mean I'm basically stuck with a broken device?

refurbs are in stock. i have one on the way,ordered this morning. my ov's speaker is making crackling noise as if speaker is busted. they placed my order around 10am est time this morning

nevermind. the android central app just uploaded a full size image as a crappy thumbnail no one could read...useless. either call them and get a replacement or dont..its your call

I'm in the same situation right now. Do you believe Virgin Mobile still has replacements for the Optimus V available? Also, does VM usually send refurbs or new replacements?

Update: LG Optimus V is back in stock online and I was able to get a "new replacement" for my phone.
