LG Power (LG L22C) Black Screen after trying custom boot animation

[AC Question]

Phone was rooted with King Root (no problems)
followed the manual way here,

phone boots, lg logo, black screen during animation, vibrates, screen back lights but no picture, responds to all touches and buttons.

It was not flashed
it was (stupidly) not in usb debug mode

I have tried Droid at Screen and I do have ADB and all that but none of it has been connected thru this phone yet. . .

is there anyway to fix this or am i S.O.L.?

Do a hard factory reset. That will fix it.
