What are quick settings? With verizon disabling quick settings, Smart Bulletin on the stock launcher seems kinda useless. Anyone have a use for it?
Sorry, I think it's Smart Settings not quick settings. What are quick settings?
Oh OK. Verizon disables them? I wonder why?Sorry, I think it's Smart Settings not quick settings.
It's where the phone can control settings on its on based on time, location, etc. Like simplified Tasker or Macrodroid.
LG Smart World is available from the LG site. Has a few nice themes and wallpapers. No big loss that Verizon left it out. Less bloatware =![]()
The point is Smart Bulletin isn't useful in any state. It's a great idea, poorly implemented. The point is that Smart Bulletin isn't useful in the current state, but it looks like eventually other apps will be available to download.
I only downloaded smart home to be able to change my fonts. I couldn't care less about the themes. They are ugly and cartoony. I've been using Nova Launcher for a long time and just can't stand stock launchers.
I've tried macro droid and had issues with it. I've found more of a use for ifttt than macrodroid.
The themes that also modify the menus (like the two that came with the phone) are nice, and look good with themes in Nova Launcher. I mix themes.I only downloaded smart home to be able to change my fonts. I couldn't care less about the themes. They are ugly and cartoony. That's how it's supposed to function on the G4. The full system themes we have now, I think, is a Nougat exclusive for LG phones. The G5 running Nougat can also use these themes.I use the LG G4 but changing themes doesn't change any menu items. It only changes icons on the LG Home Launcher. I think it also changes the lock screen shortcut icons as well.
