LG smartphones business dead?

Ha ha, dude I hear you. The Moto mods made the phone bulkier, heavier more than annoying to use them! Like I said in concept, great idea. Execution in real world they sucked.

Oh, yes! A very innovative notion - but heavily illogical in practice. I did hear good things about the battery Moto Mod, though.

Hey, yeah! As did I! That battery Moto Mod I also heard was pretty darn solid! Too bad it was way too overpriced, not to mention bulky as hell!

I was gonna say - the bulk factor must have been huge! Kudos to Moto for doing that mod, though. I remember reading posts on AC about users loving their battery mods.

Oh yeah, absolutely! I always gave Moto a ton of credit for that extended battery mod! If i had owned that phone, I probably would've bought the battery mod anyways.

Same here! I would have wanted a battery mod, as well. It reminded me of BlackBerry with their removable batteries!

HD projector? Why can I not remember that?

I have the projector...and the 2200ah battery mod, and the Alexa smart speaker. The Z3 is a very slim phone, and the battery mod is slim as well, so together they're about the size of an average 6+ inch phone, but I can go days between charges. The projector comes with it's own case and battery, you can turn any place into a theater as long as you have something to project the images off your phone onto... it's actually pretty cool, especially with a bluetooth speaker if you want an anywhere impromptu group theater experience. And the Alexa speaker turns the phone into a boombox, plus the speaker phone's loud enough you can talk to someone hands free, walking around the house while the phone's on a coffee table, almost like the person's in the house.

The mods were actually pretty underrated. And overpriced originally.... I got them brand new on clearance along with the phone, I paid a little more than the projector originally cost for everything ;)

Wow! What an awesome and unique experience that you can't get with very many products! That's so cool! Thanks for explaining all that! :)

Me, too.
Was thinking about upgrading to the V60, but is appears that I waited too long....

Not at all. You can find them at good prices on sites like Offer Up and Swappa and LG advised they will honor their commitments.
