Yes it's here and the wierd thing is I didn't get it OTA, but rather on my VZW Software Upgrade Assistant program on my PC.....figures...HAHA!!

you are correct. I'm downloading it now through the verizon upgrade thingy on my pc as well. You gotta check for it though

the way i understand it is that it's v6. v5 has been abandoned. I could be wrong.

Not sure how big it is I ended up cancelling the download since I'm not on stock.

Will there be any way for people to get the update without having to use the Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant program?

I suppose in the meantime I could just check myself...

The VZW Software Upgrade Assistant should auto install on your computer when you plug our phone into your computer, atleast mine did. the one thing i dont remember is what connection setting i had it on.

The update is alright so far haven't seen any big changes. I was rooted before this and it did remove the root, so if you want to stay with the root then don't update. Can't really say too much about this update yet since it just came out yesterday.

anybody getting an ota? im rooted, cwm, Broken out... juts checked my phone and it was downloading a software update.

I am not going to use the same process to root again since it was for V4 and I don't know if it is compatible with this version/update. If I did try it it just might brick my phone,thats why they make these rooting programs for certain versions and I will wait for these guys to make another root for this version. Since this update took away my root it took everything away including super user.

I have notice that I have no lag and using Google search is faster than it was before. Just minor stuff right now but will see if there is anything else. Has anyone else downloaded this update? Let us know if you found anything about this update.

I went to software update on my phone and hit update and it started the OTA update and yes it is VS920ZV6.
