Lg spectrum 2.3.6 update is here!!!

Mt has a link on android forums to block the update. He is also looking for tester to test a "keep root" method for the update.

My phone automatically updated this afternoon. The only thing I have noticed so far, there is no lag when you start the stock browser.

No, you are incorrect. The one click root works fine. Just did it on my phone which i flashed the V6 cab onto.

It works ninja. I used it. But I'm back on eclipse now I didn't any point in the update and I'd rather have a custom rom.

I used one click to root and can't update my phone. I have the boot loop fix to get me out of that mess but still cant update. I've unrooted and tried again also no luck. the errors I get are;

E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.

any ideas?

You can not update your phone if you have CWM installed. If you have not modified any system files, you can use this thread to update.

Read this you are stuck in CWM because your phone took the V6 update - Android Forums

If you modified any system files at all, you will need this thread.

I was a little overzealous with my rooting of v6. I apparently de-bloated a bit too much and now I'm getting a reboot here or there. It tends to come when I'm downloading and/or uploading quite a bit at once. And strangely enough it is a very quick reboot, like less than a minute. This leads me to believe that it's not technically a reboot, just some glitch.

I think I'll return to stock and just wait for a new version of Broken Out that's based on v6.
