LG Stylo 2 Plus - stuck on a Black & White Screen

[AC Question]

I have checked the developer options and I am not in monochrome. I also checked under accessibility --> vision and I have grey scale turned off. I am not in power saving mode either. Not sure what else to do.... please help me

I had the same issue and none of the posted answers worked. I had to go to setting>display>reader modeff and the problem was fixed

OMG!!! THANK YOU!! My phone was stuck in black and white for 2 days and no other posts helped. I even did a live chat with an LG rep and they told me I was going to have to do a factory reset. Reader mode?? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

My phone is having the same problem. There was a 9/30 system update, and since then I can't find the reader mode you are talking about.

Go to your system settings -- is there a search option there? If so, search for "reader" and see if it shows up.

I went to SETTINGS then DISPLAY then turned on COMFORT VIEW.
I got the color back!

By the way:
This worked on my LG Stylos3.
I don't know about the other models, though.

Go to Settings > Display > Turn off Comfort View, this fixed the problem.

No reader mode on my lg stylo. What worked for me was: systems>display>search: screen color adjustment> on. Hope this helps others.

This worked for my phone. LG sure put it in a weird Place!

From the homescreen, open Settings.
Tap General, then Accessibility.
Tap Vision.
You can choose: Grayscale, which will make your display show in black, white and grey. Screen colour inversion, where the colours and shades on your display will be shown in the opposite way.

Find something that says "Reduce Eye Strain" and turn it off.
