Lg stylo issue: How to get pen pop options icon back after deletion

[Android Central Question]

Need help with getting the Pen Pop Options Icon back onto my Stylo 6 phone. This is the little floating icon that is supposed to come up after you pop out the stylus on your phone. It worked when I first got the phone. I accidentally deleted it (it was an option!) but can't seem to get it back or see any option in any pen-related menu to restore the floating icon. Strangely enough I've read several forum posts for previous Stylo phones and this has happened to others. People suggest clearing the cache and data for the Quick Memo + app but that so far doesn't work. My stylus makes a sound when removed from the phone and also once it's back inside. But unable to see that darn icon or quickly launch any of the pen pop apps.

Should I back & restore the phone and see if factory settings will restore that icon? Would hate to have to do that but willing to try.

Any help from users or LG would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Can try reset app preferences in settings or check settings for stylus setting.
