when i turn wi fi on my cell phone lg thrive p506 it's show scanning, pls can any one help about this issue

need more info. is that all it does? are you in a area that has wifi broadcast?

are you on a stock unrooted phone? just rooted? or the whole 9... custom recovery and rom?
what version of android? ie, froyo, gingerbread, ics, jb
