LG Tribute stuck in a bootloop

So I posted this question without realizing you need an account to reply to answers, but yeah, phone is stuck in a bootloop, tried pulling out the battery and putting it back in but that didnt work, so at this point I feel sort of helpless. Is this even the proper forum for this?

Re: LG Tribute stuck in a bootloop

Yeah I posted that before I made an account, I tried taking out the battery and putting it back in, like i said in the post, and that did not help at all. Still stuck sadly.

I can't quite do a factory reset if my phone is stuck in a bootloop, seeing as it wont turn on so i cant access settings or any of that

How odd.
Once you remove and replace the battery and it is off, hold the power and volume down buttons at the same time and see if it will go into Recovery mode.
If it does, there should be an option to Factory Reset the device.

I tried that and it didnt work either, i have no clue what to do or why its doing this

Im having the same problem with my tribute 5, I am able to get to the factory reset screen but when I press yes to confirm the factory reset it does nothing, and throws me back into the bootloop.
