Forgive me for my stupidity, but I just joined and can not figure out how to post a pic here? I wanted to post a pic from my v10. Must it be a link only? Thanks

Until recently you could upload some full resolution photos directly here but now you can only use the camera icon and choose from gallery to post. However you can resize the photo before uploading to the thread which is what I'm about to start doing to retain the detail and sharpness of the original photo. About to go shoot in a few minutes. First test with nd8 filter.

I don't see a camera icon?

Hit the little arrow button if you are using the mobile app. And then you will see a camera icon and a paperclip icon along with some other options. Hit the camera icon unless you have resized your photos to meet the file size limit.Simply choose from your gallery after hitting the camera icon.

you can still upload larger images.. but you'll just have to resize them to under 10mb or like 95% of their original size

What is the best way to do this without turning the photo into crap?

I'll deal with the photo size issues later. I had a really fun night tonight with the nd8 filter. It really makes a huge difference. I have an nd2 and nd4 filter as well which should help preserve highlights in daylight shots without darkening the shot too much. Check these out. These are all 30 second exposure shots in RAW. The last two are without the filter.

Another day of good captures. I had an idea to shoot into the sunset in the city but the weather changed and I was not prepared for the cold tonight. So my day was short and sweet. Captured a few daylight long exposures too with the nd8 filter. For anything longer than a second you still need something darker.

was playing around with camera 2 app. its pretty cool and processes effects in real time..

I have really found that AUTO mode often does not select the best white balance and exposure... I think from now on its going to be 100% manual mode for me

Wow the difference is pretty drastic. Auto mode nails it in certain situations but as you have pointed out, manual is where its at.

Out again with the nd8 filter doing 30 second exposures. The last shot I used the rear curtain flash to brighten up the nearby pole to make it stand out from the background. I really enjoy messing with the settings. First and fourth shots are untouched.

And taken while recording video? Pretty dope shot. Post the video as well if you find a way. How was the audio quality from it?
