LG V10 Marshmallow Update - When will we see it?

As Marshmallow is incoming to lots of phones including the LG G4 i was just wondering did anybody hear or knows when Marshmallow update will come to the LG V10?

That's one thing holding me back from buying this phone. I wish LG would commit to fast updates like Motorola did. Granted, they can't do it as fast as Motorola does because of the skins and added features but surely they can get it pushed out faster than 3 months later.

It shouldn't. The phone works amazing on the Lollipop it has.

I hope they get the update as well. I like the feature of external storage aka SD card being treated the same as the internal storage

If thats the only reason you are waiting for MM its not worth it. That is designed more for low end devices with small storage capacity. It wont hurt to have it but you would need a top quality sd card with very fast transfer rate to get minimal lag

It's not all I'm waiting for...I tried it on the Nexus 6...I like it.

It's not present on my G4 running Marshmallow.

It's not in the storage settings and the phone never asked if I wanted to adopt my SD card as internal storage when I removed it and put it back.

I'm guessing LG removed the feature because they thought that the performance dip wasn't worth it.

Remember, the reason adoptable storage was added was to alleviate the storage concerns of cheaper phones. On flagship devices, adoptable storage is not really needed.

So based on another blog's recommendation, I installed this on my new V10 the other day. Seeing your comment above and having the feeling that you know your stuff, Mr Nickinson, I just deleted it and will wait for Marshmallow. Just curious as to why it's a REALLY bad idea.
