. I recently installed Action Launcher, does anything think that could be it.

I've used Action Launcher for years. I've never experienced it to even come close to causing the phone to show down.

I have my new V20 set to 75% compared to around 60% on my Note 4 amoled screen to compensate for the brightness :-! It takes time to adjust for me the differences.....

Day to day I never will because my battery life is so good. I do see benefit from an extra battery while out hiking, playing golf, etc where I'm taking lots of pictures or video, using GPS, cell signal not great, etc.

Plus I'm waiting for prices to drop. Not paying over $50 for battery+charger.

I have the V10 and will upgrade to the V20 on Friday when they arrive in my local TMo store. I don't carry the second battery I received with my V10 all the time, but, I do carry it when I'm traveling, especially on long-haul flights. That said, I could survive on the plane without it as most long-haul flights have charging available at the seat. Where I have found the second battery useful is when flights are delayed due to weather, the airport is jammed and there is no unused outlet in sight. That said, you can also achieve the same functionality with a backup battery pack. I have one of those too, a 10,000 MA that can charge all my devices.

Maybe, but only when I'm off to an event at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. Note 5 took a huge battery beating there. Wait! I'm going to the Good Charlotte concert in November. I'll know afterwards.

I don't, but I'll look into an extended battery if/when some come out. I will say that having just got mine last night and playing around with setting everything up, I've been happy with the stock battery life so far.

I had the MXPE for a year- good device overall, but the Z compared to the V20:

-No 3.5 jack
-No replaceable battery (I will take that over about 20% better battery life)
-Smaller display
-No built in option to hide the nav bar taking 15% of space. The apps that can be used are not in any stretch the same function as the firmware feature of the V20.
-Z runs hot with games and GPS Maps.
-Z Not as good camera

I was hoping there would be an MXPE 2 (stereo speakers, 5.7"), but they went Z. Hopefully the V20 passes my picky test.

Thank goodness the V20 does not run hot. My G5 was incredibly hot if surfing web or using lots of data. I was worried V20 would be the same, because the specs are similar. But I guess Android 7.0 cured all that.

100% 6:00 am (unplug from charger)
- Gmail IMAP on
- Location on
- BT/Wifi on
- Music player on (playing thru BT)

By 8:00 am, only 70% remaining. Went on FB like 10 mins browsing, reading news from Feedly. That's it.
Is this normal? I don't remember by V10 go thru that much in 2 hours.

Does anyone knows how to dim the second screen on top? It seems much brighter than the V10.

Thank goodness the V20 does not run hot. My G5 was incredibly hot if surfing web or using lots of data. I was worried V20 would be the same, because the specs are similar. But I guess Android 7.0 cured all that.

This is one thing I noticed! Even during my initial setup of the phone and installing all my apps the phone didn't get hot at all like I've experienced with my S7 Edge or even the V10. I mean it did get warm but not to the point where I had to put the phone down.

So this whole doze thing must not do too much for battery life because my main battery drain was phone idle. This is where I'm at so far with my first day. Not horrible, but not too impressive either. Slightly less than my n7.

Signal check pro. Been using it since my g3. Make sure if you use it you turn off notifications under settings otherwise you'll be getting all kinds of alerts.

14 hours, 4hrs SOT. 40% left. Just plugged it into my computer to move files.

What tweaks did you do?
I'm at 4.5 hrs and only got 5% battery left
