Okay, because I really really really really really really really don't want to turn in my Galaxy Note 7, I added another line to my account and got an LG v20.

Now it's time to compare! Obviously, for me the primary thing is signal strength so I'm going to be adding an app for that and measuring in the remote areas where I live.

I'm going to be comparing the audio quality , because that's really important to me as well.

I will also compare photo quality but I'm not a great photographer so I don't know how great my opinion is going to be on the matter but I will try.

What all would you like to see? This forum has been so helpful to me, I thought I might try to do some comparisons that you all are interested in.

I have 14 days to return the v20.

If I don't absolutely love it, it goes back and I will ride my soon to be crippled Note 7 until the Note 8 comes out!

Anyway, let me know what you are interested in seeing between the two.

To do side-by-side comparisons I will use my husband's Note 5 to videotape or whatever

You should be happy with signal for LTE. The V20 makes the Note 7 seem like an iPhone 4 being held wrong. You do not notice it in a strong signal area. Ignorance is bliss otherwise.

I, too, had both an N7 (before and after battery fiasco models) and am now on a V20 (Verizon).

For me, the V20 wins. From audio to battery, etc. Was going to go with the Pixel XL till it was learned that the screen is smaller than the V20.

iPhone 4 *;).

Another Note 7 survivor here and the V20 has been a very pleasant surprise for me with it being my first LG anything!

The feel of the hardware , screen size and quality and the 2nd screen has all been great attributes for me.

Hasn't run hot nor even warm and is actually a tad faster than my Note 7s that never had an issue.

I hope in the next 2 weeks you'd feel the same but good luck in your decision!!

Another Note 7 user here....

Went to the S7E first, then v20. No regrets at this point, in fact I'm not missing the S7E at all. I do miss my N7 but I can tell the v20 will be a worthwhile replacement.

Truth be told, after the first Note 7 recall was announced, I was saying to myself, "Man, it's a shame the V20 isn't available now, because I really kinda want that one more instead."

Thank Goodness for recall #2.

And I'm never looking back. LOVE the V20!!!

N7 user here......I am actually going to start using my LG today for the week. I was between the 2 this past week and mostly the N7 but I am getting tired of switching SIMS and storage cards. Also I am afraid to download apps on the N7 as I am not sure when it will go capput (spelling) or when they will totally pull the plug on it....lol. In all I enjoy both and still believe the N7 is better than the LG. But the LG was a very pleasant surprise to me. I can live with LG's screen but the Note 7 has a beautiful vibrant screen. I'll be waiting for the N8 but will keep my LG phone as well.

HAHAH SAME that pixel was SUCH a let down. I've never had an LG, I'm pretty dang happy with it!!!

I have a note 7 and v20 and the lg v20 is good but.... As of now my camera is not up to n7 standards. Please share your camera settings with me. I have seen pictures posted on the site that look better than my pics. Some of my pics look hazy.

Same here. Loving my first LG phone. Its fantastic!

Please keep in mind you can go in accessibility settings and calibrate the V20 display as you like.

There is no comparison the note 7 wins
I'm a former Note 7 fan too, but the signal reception knocks the Note 7 down a notch compared to the V20. Factor in the replaceable battery and that helps too.

Prefer the N7 camera though and the pen integration is nice, but seems moot. Note 7 is essentially dead.

The phone looks good and the screen is the best but that's all I'm missing about it is the screen....This Lg is out performing the Note 7....And Spen and iris scanner vs IR Blaster and Hifi Dac I find my self using the LG's hardware features more then the note's

I finally decided on the v20 to replace my N7 but of course it is nowhere to be found in stock for Verizon. So I'm stuck using my N7 and by the time I can get one there will be no deals on them. I would like to find a display to try it out first too but no luck there either. This all is getting very frustrating.

Verizon website is showing it in-stock at 13 of the 15 stores within 50 miles of me. Which zipcode are you in?

Showing one in stock around me now but I really wanted to do the Best Buy deal. None on display anywhere either. I hate buying it without a chance to check it out first.
