That is my question of the day! I feel like they would both serve me well and around the same price. I have had LG in the past though and quite like them, but I have never had Oneplus.

I have the V50 as my backup driver. My DD is the 12 Pro Max. I have considered replacing the V50 with the V60. I have no experience with the OnePlus either. My suggestion is to see what other postings suggest.

I have the V60 and love it but I heard the OnePlus is fantastic and it's had some nice sale (black friday) prices.

I don't really understand why they didn't release the V50 for all carriers. I would have picked it up if it was available for T-Mobile.

I like everything about the V60 personally. But.. that 65 watt charger would be awesome. Then again, with a 5000mah battery on the V60... May not be necessary. I think you can use Quickcharge 4.0 with the V60 if I am not mistaken. 12 gb of ram would also be sweeeet.

I decided to try out the Oneplus 8. Not the 8T. I was at the T-Mobile store today and was looking for the V60 and 8T. They didnt have either but had the OP8. It was beautiful. And cant beat the 599 price point.

I have a soft spot for LG but I think OnePlus would be a better bargain, especially when you consider price and specifications. Let us know what you decide!

Trying out the regular Oneplus 8. Not 8T. Saw it at the store and immediately loved it. I'm not really a fan of that left side camera hump that everyone is doing now like on the 8T and all Samsungs, Iphone etc.

That's so awesome! Let us know how you enjoy it after a little while of use! :)

Will do! I am starting to wonder if I should have picked up the 8T though instead... flat display, 12 gb of ram... 4500mah battery... AND 65 watt warp charge! I heard supposedly the camera is a bit better as well, but I shall see how the camera fairs on the 8

Hope you don't mind, I moved this from General News to Buyers Guides, since this is where these kinds of discussions usually are.

Do you have a return window or anything like that still in effect? How is the camera faring as of now?

Well, I haven't received it yet. I should tomorrow. And yes, I do. I have 21 days from the day that I get the phone. I tried to call T-Mobile to cancel the device, but it was too late lol

Normally, I could just order the 8T and return the 8 when I get it, but I'm not able to order anything until my EIP goes down since I have 2 other devices being processed for returns lol

I've never had a Oneplus device before, but I am liking most of the things I am hearing about the 8/8T. The 8T seems to have more favorable ratings from a lot that I have seen online though. And the fact that it has a flat display is a HUGE advantage in my eyes.

Devices I returned were the S20 FE and the Note 20 Ultra.

I think if it doesn't pan out with trying out Oneplus, I will pick up the V60. Just my personal opinion, but I am a bit over Samsung at this point.

Oh, gotcha! I have heard some very favourable things about OnePlus as well! Let us know what happens!

So... I got my Oneplus 8 today. I am impressed. I was going to get the 8T instead, but I don't think I'm going to now. I am happy with the 8 so far. Cheaper too. Only 465 with trade in for me.

That's so great that you got it today, and that you are enjoying it! It is definitely a great phone and at an amazing value to boot! I hear it's a very fluid and seamless experience! Gotta love OnePlus!

It is pretty good so far! One thing I am definitely missing is being able to use expandable memory. It also seems like the battery goes fairly quick on this device too. But then again, I just got it.. So maybe that will change.

Charging speeds are pretty decent too. I don't like the fact though that once it hits 90%, the charge is like ultra slow. I heard this is a Oneplus thing to conserve battery or something like that?

Perhaps once the device gets accustomed to your battery usage, and once you are finishing your setups and such, the battery life will adjust.

Hmm, I think that could be a OP thing. That tends to happen with some manufacturers. It happened with my Pixel 2, from what I recall.
