Settings>apps>check what apps are listed and should say somewhere default apps not sure on your device but most Android are same

ok so chrome works and i can pull up websites no problem. Ok so the green label messenger is the LG one and the Red one is google verizon messsenger plus...............now here is a issue, when i try to use the red google one it wont open at all it just does nothing, only the green one works but i think its the stock LG app and that was dissabled in 2024..........................something weird is going on............................i cant delete either one of them

downloaded latest google messenger and it installed but same problem wont send text

i did the clear data, cache and it didnt do nothing still wont work

Go to settings>connections>tap mobile data >APN tap then upper right corner tap 3 dots and tap reset APN

That should reset your sim if any issue on that end.

Does it give an error when trying to send?

says CANT SEND, and there is a red triangle next to the text, but i can receive text, very strange
