ok.......................someone on another site had this problem and said that uninstalling SERVICE CARRIER APP fixed there issue, but i cant find that app anywhere on my phone.

Try safe mode see if the message app works

From what I can see online for your device try this to enter safe mode

press and hold the power button until power options appear, then long-press "Power off" until the "Restart in safe mode" prompt appears

i have had a few updates from LG over the past few days, i bet that might have something to do with it

i bet if i factory reset it i could get it to work, i now think the last 2 updates did something to it

But then u have to wait for the new update to see if it fixes the issue.
Take your Sim card out and re insert it just in case

Can try resetting network settings in the settings menu type it in for quicker search , will reset Bluetooth and WiFi password

OK SIM card did nothing, I'm almost done with this and getting a new phone........................... Let me tell you i had Verizon for years, total rip off prices, so i decided to try Total Wireless, which uses verizon network and i pay half of the price, first few days amazing worked great, then problems. I wake up and there is no internet at all, i can call out but no internet. I go to the store and there is a line of people with same problem, he takes out my sim and put it back in and bam now i have internet but no texting and thats where it at.
